Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At The Chocolateries, we take great pride in the quality of our handmade products and the care we take to ensure they arrive to you in the best possible condition. Because our chocolates and treats are perishable food items, we are unable to accept returns, provide refunds, or offer exchanges for change of mind purchases.

Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If the wrong item has been dispatched, or if your order arrives damaged or not as described, please contact us within 2 days of receiving your delivery. We will review your claim and, if appropriate, provide a replacement or refund.

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

  • Contact us via email at admin@yvci.com.au or by phone on 03 9730 2777 within 2 days of receiving your order.

  • Please provide your order number, details of the issue, and supporting information (such as photos if the product has arrived damaged).

  • Once we have reviewed your request, we will confirm the next steps.

  • We may offer a refund, replacement, or credit at our discretion, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. We do not accept returns for change of mind, or for products that are perishable, opened or not stored appropriately.

Our Discretion

Refunds and replacements are considered on a case-by-case basis and remain at the discretion of The Chocolateries. Where approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

Delivery Responsibility

Please note that once your order has been dispatched, The Chocolateries is not responsible for delays, damage, or incorrect handling by third-party couriers. We do, however, always do our best to assist you in resolving delivery issues.
